NO FCRA USE. This is a privately operated website with no affiliation to a government body or court. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit decisions, employment screening, insurance eligibility, tenant screening, or another use regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The site provides reference routes for Iredell County court dockets and records. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This is a private reference site with no connection to a government office or court. It does not store official dockets or case files, retrieve a record, change a hearing date, or file a document for a visitor.
The site identifies the public paths used in Iredell County: the Iredell County Clerk of Superior Court, Iredell Superior Court and District Court, and the North Carolina eCourts Portal. Portal supplies the public search layer; North Carolina File & Serve is a separate filing application. The North Carolina Court of Appeals is the intermediate appellate court, not the local case-file custodian.
2. Informational Use Only
All site content is general information, not an official docket, court order, or legal advice. In North Carolina, G.S. 7A-109 addresses the Clerk's docket and index records, and G.S. 132-1 states the public-records policy. The public Portal Register of Actions or Case Summary is not the official certified court record. Confirm an important entry with the Iredell County Clerk of Superior Court or the court holding the case.
3. Rules for Using This Site
You agree that you will not:
- Violate federal, North Carolina, or local law while using the site
- Use information found here to stalk, threaten, or harass a person
- Use site content for a credit, employment, tenant-screening, insurance, or other FCRA-regulated decision
- Attempt to enter systems or obtain access without authorization
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools against site pages
- Interfere with the site's operation or other visitors' access
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA, and we do not create background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers a service designed for FCRA-regulated decision-making. You agree not to use information from this site or a linked tool to:
- Make a hiring or firing decision
- Screen a tenant or housing applicant
- Evaluate creditworthiness or insurance eligibility
- Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government program
- Carry out any other purpose covered by the FCRA
A party needing a consumer report for such a purpose must use an FCRA-compliant provider.
5. No Legal Advice
No material on this site is legal advice. It cannot determine how an Iredell County case, charge, order, or deadline applies to a particular situation. Consult a licensed North Carolina attorney for that advice.
6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed
Site content is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:
- Information is accurate, complete, or current at a particular time
- The site will remain available without interruption
- Pages will be free from every error, bug, or security weakness
- A partner search tool will provide complete or accurate results
Registers of Actions change as matters are filed, scheduled, continued, restricted, dismissed, or amended. Public electronic access also has limits: sealed and confidential material does not display in Portal, and G.S. 1-72.1 provides a process for restricting covered judicial records. Nothing here is an official statement by a court or Clerk. Verify an entry or hearing date with the court that holds the file.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
This site may link to Clerk pages, trial-court resources, Portal, legal-aid organizations, and outside search services. An external link opens a service outside our control. We do not control its content, data practices, charges, availability, or terms, so review its terms before use.
8. Intellectual Property
Text, graphics, logos, and code on Iredell County Court Docket belong to the site or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used to create a derivative work without written permission.
9. Limits on Our Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of this site, including decisions based on information here or through a linked service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from a claim, action, or demand arising from your use of the site or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.
11. Governing Law
North Carolina law governs these terms. A dispute connected to use of the site must be filed in a court located in North Carolina.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms at any time. A revised version is effective when it is posted on this page.
